Profile
Tony is a Software Engineer
by profession with over 15 years of experience in ICT, and various skills in
Systems Design and Development in Desktop, Web Based and Mobile Applications.
He has worked with several Relational Database Management System including
Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Tony has worked in
different sectors including Health, Civil Society and currently in Food
Security sector in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda). Most
recently he has been setting up M&E systems for food security programs and
Digital Data Migra-tion using Mobile devices. Tony has worked and consulted for
various international and local organizations among them Strathmore University,
KEMRI/Wellcome Trust Research Programme, Pact Inc., Act!, Danya International, MSH,
GVEP International, TechnoServe, Viwango, KALRO and Research Solutions Africa.
He has experience with different funding agencies including USAID, DFID, CIDA,
FORD Foundation, Safaricom, Vodacom and Coca-Cola.
Tony holds a Bachelor in
Information System from University of Hertfordshire, and currently pursuing his
Master’s program in Applied Computing specializing in Health-Informatics from
the University of Nairobi.
