Tony is a Software Engineer with 15+ years of experience in ICT and skills in Systems Design and Development in desktop, web-based and mobile applications. He has worked with several Relational Database Management Systems including Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Tony has worked in different sectors including Learning Institution, Micro-finance, Civil Society, Food Security, and Health sectors in East Africa and its neighboring countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Somalia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Ghana, Mozambique, Senegal, and Nigeria). Other supported countries outside Africa (Nepal, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Papua New Guinea, The Caribbean). He has received formal training on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Organizational Capacity Assessment, and has carried out ICT assessment for 10 National Health related NGOs. Most recently, he set up Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems for Health programs and leads Digital Data Migration using Mobile devices. Tony has worked with various international and local organizations among them Strathmore University, KEMRI/Wellcome Trust Research Programme, Pact Inc., Act!, Danya International, Management Sciences for Health (MSH), GVEP International, TechnoServe, Viwango, Kenya Agricultural Livestock & Research Organization (KALRO) and Research Solutions Africa. He has experience with different funding agencies including USAID, DFID, CIDA, Global Fund, FORD Foundation, Safaricom, Vodacom and Coca-Cola.
